Banana bread from Switzerland
Ingredients
- 250 g whole grain flour
- 150 g sugar
- vegetable milk to get a thick liquid consistency of the dough
- 3 medium and ripe bananas
- 1 tablespoon of apple vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate
- 1/2 bag of cream of tartar
- a pinch of salt
- a dash of cinnamon
- 1 pinch of nutmeg
- 6 squares of dark chocolate
Instructions
- Turn on the ventilated oven at 180°.
- Mix the liquid ingredients together in a bowl.
- Mix the solid ingredients together in a bowl.
- Add the liquid ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix them well.
- Cover a baking tray with baking paper and pour the mixture in, smoothing it down well. Take a fourth banana, cut it lengthwise into slices and place it on top of the mixture.
- Bake for around 50-60 and do the "toothpick" test. If it comes out dry, that means it is ready!
- Let it cool down for about ten minutes and then try it.
